Certified

Strength and Conditioning Specialist

  • I hold the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) certifications - the gold standard for training athletes and tactical populations. I'm also an EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS) and RPR Level 1 certified. These certifications represent thousands of hours studying program design, biomechanics, and evidence-based training methods.

  • I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2003 and served as an infantry Marine until 2012, completing two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. Those nine years shaped my leadership, discipline, and commitment to high standards.

After my military service, I earned my degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, where I also interned with the Hawaii football program. There, I learned to combine the discipline and mental toughness forged in the Marine Corps with the science of developing elite performance.

Today, that foundation drives everything I do — structured training, measurable progress, and building athletes and people who are strong in every sense of the word.

  • Originally from Orange County, California - a long way from Thompson, North Dakota. Married with three daughters and three dogs, so the house is never quiet. When I'm not coaching, I'm watching sports or hunting. North Dakota's become home, and I'm building something here I'm proud of - a training facility where athletes and adults can get serious work done without the nonsense.
